Ping Li embarked on her academic journey at Fudan University, majoring in French, which she completed in 1978. Subsequently, she engaged in translating and researching science and technology information.
Ms. Li transitioned to the IP field by qualifying as a patent agent in 1985 and established the Shanghai Light Industry Patent Firm the same year. A year later, she passed the National Bar Exam, becoming a certified attorney at law. Her expertise and dedication to her profession were recognized in 1994 when she honored as one of the 20 "National Model Patent Agents". She is also an active member of the Intellectual Property Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association.
Throughout her decades-long career, Ms. Li has managed a vast array of intellectual property cases, encompassing patent applications, objections, reexamination procedures, and invalidations, as well as trademark and copyright cases. She has also expertly handled numerous infringement and administrative cases related to intellectual property.
