Mr. Hongsong Song serves as a part-time lawyer at Watson & Band's Yantai Office and leads the IP services team. He boasts a diverse educational background with a JD from the University of Queensland, Australia, a Master's degree in civil and commercial law from the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, dual Bachelor's degrees in law from China University of Political Science and Law, and a Bachelor's degree in Exploration and Geophysical Engineering. 

Mr. Song's expertise spans all facets of intellectual property, including acquisition, application, protection, and management of  patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, geographical indications, new varieties of plants, layout design of integrated circuits and domain names. He specializes in customs, administrative and judicial protection for IP rights, licensing and assignment contracts of IP rights and IP due diligence and risk precaution. Mr. Song is well-versed in intellectual property laws and international treaties in major jurisdictions such as UK, the US, the EU, and Japan, and specializes in foreign-related IP services.
